DECLARATION

This is to declare that, we, Soumava Bhattacharjee & Sayandeep Sarkar, B. Tech 3 rd
Year students of Civil Engineering Department of Techno India College of Technology, DG
1/1, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata-700 156, has been given the opportunity to undergo
vocational training in summer recess at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Haldia
Refinery under Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd. They give us the training at their project area
like BS-VI & DYIP “Aishwarya” Projects in IOCL, Haldia Refinery. We would like to
declare also that the details of training report are our ideas, & which we have incorporated is
mentioned in the Bibliography & Reference Sections in this project. All the facts &
information contained in the training report is certain, genuine & correct to the best of our
knowledge, the sources of information are being mentioned in the bibliography sections.

ABSTRACT

In this training report we have highlighted the details of DYIP “Aishwarya” Project &
BS-VI project which we have seen during our site visit at BA Area & DYIP Area in Indian
Oil Corporation Limited, Haldia Refinery. This report covers the details of Coke Drum,
MRSS, CWTP, DHDT Sub Station, & Batching Plants & Machineries. This report also
includes the application of BBS & HSE Policy is hereby mentioned in this project. Every
Civil Engineer may know the procedures for being safety first, then the security issues & then
the execution which will be very vital & a long term process & it will also include becoming
economical and feasible.
