Week 14 Journal


1.a Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of a shared vision for the
comprehensive use of technology to support a digital-age education for all students.
- I feel that I have met this standard by working with classmates during the global projects for engaging
STEM students. We worked together to create a shared end project while also learning about a global
projects. We discussed how we could use this in our classroom to bring digital-age education to my
classroom.

2.d. Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content
standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.

- I have met this standard because I now use more technology to support this data collection on
assessments. For example, for the action research project I used Google Slides by having students have
their final product be on that platform. Using technology makes grading more quick and efficient which
can then help inform my teaching and student’s learning.

2.e Coach teachers in and model design and implementation of technology-enhanced learning experiences
using differentiation including adjusting content, process, product and learning environment based upon
student readiness levels, learning preferences, interests, and personal goals.

2.f Coach teachers in and model incorporation of research-based best practices in instructional design when
planning technology-enhanced learning experiences.

- I have met this standard because through my podcasting I have created resources for other educators
to listen to and benefit from. In the podcasts I cover topics of content strategies, pedagogy, and other
helpful miscellaneous topics.

3.a Model effective classroom management and collaborative learning strategies to maximize teacher and
student use in technology-rich learning environments.

3.b. Maintain and manage a variety of digital tools and resources for teacher and student use in technology
rich learning environments.

- I have met this standards because I have learned many differentiation strategies through technology
use through this course. From global projects, audio projects/tools, video projects/tools, and even
video gaming projects/tools I have learned a lot of ways to create a technology rich learning
environment that is accessible to all diverse learners.

6.1 Engage in continual learning to deepen content and pedagogical knowledge in technology integration and
current and emerging technologies necessary to effectively implement technology-infused content knowledge
in your classroom.

- I have met this standard by how much I have learned regarding multimedia and instruction design. I
have learned about so many new and engaging technologies that can be utilized in my content and in
my classroom. Through my multimedia portfolio, I have demonstrated the variety of tools that I have
been introduced to through this class as well as how I would/am using them in my classroom.
