Complete Accomplishment 5 4 3 2 1 Minimal Accomplishment

Comments:

When I began my presentation, I felt far more confident than I expected. It came very naturally to
me to talk about my experience in the program. In my opinion, I think I did a good job at
highlighting the learning outcomes I feel like I demonstrated accomplishment in and those that I
feel like I need to grow more in. For example, learning outcome number 4 and 5 are two that I
think all my experiences always come back to. They are centered in my experience here. Learning
outcomes number 7 and 9 are two that I believe I need to grow in. I want to focus more on
assessment in my future role and learn more about law, policy, finance, and governance.

Additionally, I would like to talk about three lessons I have learned through this process. The first
is self-confidence. Working on compiling all my work together in one website has given me a
physical outlet to look at and to be able to see the growth I have gone through to get to where I am
today. I am very proud of myself and was not expecting that feeling to come through this process.
Second, I have learned the importance of community and having a support system. The portfolio
presentation to me represents my time in the program. As I went through this program, I had so
many road blocks and today, when I presented and the people that showed up for me and the
people that sent me good luck texts, those people are my community. I would not be here without
them. Lastly, I have learned that my portfolio is a living website. What I mean by this is that
learning and growing will continue for me throughout my journey as a higher ed professional and
I am excited for that. There is always more to learn and I did not imagine being so different in just
two years but I have learned and grown so much and can’t wait to continue learning.
