1,000 and explain the reasoning verbally and in writing.
Description: This app lesson will develop (grade band or subject area) students’
(lesson material focus) (understanding, knowledge, skills, etc.).
Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use this app as the first part of
the lesson to ensure that they know/ remember any terms that they may encounter
throughout this lesson. They will use this app to look up words they are already curious
about from the segment taught. They will then add this to their dictionary that we
started at the beginning of the school year.

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use this app to try this after
looking up the vocabulary because this app tells students how to do the problem. They
can come up with their own problems to solve. This will also allow me to see what they
are struggling with.
