 Modelling and performing static analysis for aboveground and underground / buried
piping system using ASME B31.1 / B31.3 / ISO 14692.
 Defining load cases under different loading conditions
 Ensure the stresses in the piping system are within the allowable limits as per the code
allowable
 Qualifying the piping loads on equipment nozzles, in compliance with API, WRC
107/297 and allowable load from vendor
 Ensure the pipe support loads and thermal displacements are within allowable limits as
specified in the project requirement
 Flange leakage check as per PEQ method and detailed check using ASME Section VIII

 Selection and sizing of spring hangers and rigid support types
 GRE/ FRP Pipe stress Analysis
 Basic knowledge in dynamic analysis (Modal)
 Preparation of data sheets for spring hangers and expansion joints
 Preparation of static stress analysis report
 Piping Layout Review with respect to valves and instrument access
 Selection and Review of Pipe Supports with respect to stress analysis results
 Knowledge in ASME codes and API standards
