Teachers will facilitate stations through cheering,
redirecting behaviors, and having FUN!!! Your
class practiced these stations in the weeks prior
to participating in Field Day. They should be
able to run themselves. Now let’s have some
FUN!!!
Solar Flare 4 Square Volleyball—Gym
Students will be divided into 4 groups. The
group in the #4 square will serve to the group in
the #2 square. If the ball is hit by the same per-
son twice, touches the ground, or is hit way out,
your team runs counter clockwise around the
standards to square #1. All other teams move
according to traditional 4 square rules. Students
may NOT go underneath the nets. Each student
on a team must serve before the rotation begins
again.
Orbital One vs One Tug of War—Front Field
Please review the rules with your students be-
fore they play.
Students will challenge each other by either
standing on one foot OR squatting. The winner
gets to decide. Students are not allowed to let
go of the rope. They must be safe. Once a stu-
dent is out, they may go to the end of the line or
go to a different group.
Standing on one foot– If a student hops on one
foot or anything touches the ground, they are
out.
Squatting—Both feet must be even. One foot
cannot be behind the other to support the body.
If a student touches the ground with their hands,
knees, or bottoms, they are out. If a students
rear-end pops up, they are out.
