I asked for a reply from you which started on June 13th up to the present regarding the repair of my
property caused by you. But, I did not receive any reply from your side.

On or about 4:30 AM of June 13th 2016, my Hyundai Santa Fe with plate number AAC 8489 and your
truck with conduction sticker No. ZW 2728 were transversing the same direction from south to north, I
was on the leftmost lane while your truck was on my right. Your truck wanted to occupy the lane in front
of me so I had to immediately slow down and hit the brakes. As a result, your truck hit/side swept my
right mirror making it bent outward. The police officer even witnessed how your driver speeded up right
after hitting my car so I had to chase him. He even confessed that he is not even used to driving trucks
as he was driving an L300 before. We’ve discussed and made agreements about the payment wherein
one of the personnel’s in your company, Ms. Castro, said she will follow up everything to your head.
They told me that you will shoulder the expenses and that I had to wait since they will follow up
everything. It is taking days and probably more than a week already. I tried to contact Ms. Castro but
she’s not answering my calls and even text messages. Mr. Iglesia is not even updating me considering
that it was due to his recklessness, so he was the one obliged to inform me about the updates. Their
action seems to be impolite and unethical. In such event, it was really a hassle for me since I am working
and I have hearings to attend to and classes in Manila. I am always using that car and now I can’t go any
farther knowing that my side mirror could disengage any time soon.

I asked for an estimation of the repair to Hyundai service Centre located in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City,
and they said that the estimated amount would be close to 34, 480. I have attached the said estimated
amount by Hyundai in herein letter. According to them, ordering the parts and fixing it could take about
2 months or more since the parts are not yet available in the Philippines. I will not end up in this kind of
situation if you were just prudent enough in choosing your drivers and imposing a higher degree of
diligence since you are a freight company. You should have been very considerate to others on the road
even at dawn where few cars are on the road.

This letter is my formal demand that you pay the above mentioned amount for the repair of my
property against the damages caused by you.

In case you are unable to make the payment, or you just don’t want to pay, please inform me as soon as
possible to discuss this matter.

If you don’t respond to me within 7 days from the receipt of this letter, I will be forced to take legal
actions in the small claims court against you.
