The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development
(CED) is a premier Organization of Government of Organizes by
Gujarat engaged in Entrepreneurship Development
Training since 1979 and Skill Development since
2009. Concept behind CED is to develop
entrepreneurs in the urban as well as rural areas of
the state, who can establish their own Enterprise
(Trading/Service/Manufacturing) which in turn aids
in economic growth of the state and also creates
employment opportunities for others.

About the Workshop
WHY BECOME ENTREPRENEUR?
The role of the entrepreneur has evolved over
time as the world's economic structure has and
become more complex. Starting and operating
a new business involve considerable risk and
effort to overcome the inertia against creating
something new. In creating and growing a new
venture, the entrepreneur assumes the
responsibility and risk for its development and
survival and enjoys the corresponding
rewards.
Entrepreneurship development programs are
critical to enable potential entrepreneurs to
dodge the many entrepreneurial bottlenecks
that could inhibit faster business growth. And
with technology rendering more and more
people jobless, governments are strengthening
these programs by injecting substantial capital
to ensure their nation’s growth.
Objective
There is an increasing recognition of the important role
education can play in developing entrepreneurial mind-
sets, attitudes and societies and improv¬ing young
people’s employability overall.. Effective youth
entrepreneurship education prepares young people to be
responsible, enterprising individuals who become
entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to
economic development and sustainable communities.
Universities play a significant role both as hubs of
entrepreneurial ecosystems and in creating entrepreneurial
culture and educating entrepreneurial individuals.
Facilitating young people to earn a living through
entrepreneurship can make a crucial contribution to
poverty reduction and economic growth.In addition,
future innovation and economic growth will depend on
future leaders with entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.
Youth entrepreneurship is a key tool to develop the human
capital necessary for the future, unleash the economic
potential of youth, and promote sustainable growth.

Entrepreneurship and skill development. This
workshop can identify the inner skill and develop
their perception towards Entrepreneurial and
communicative skill.
About College
S. K. College Business Management was
launched in the 2007 in order to meet
the requirements of Business organiza-
tions and industries. College offer BBA
and B.Com (English Medium) pro-
grammes. The S. K. Trust, Mumbai owes
the credit and reference for its benevo-
lent donation for construction of the
building. It is heartening to note that
within a short period, the institute has
established it self and got recognition by
the leading national and multinational
business organizations who have se-
lected our students.
