1. Analyze parts of the learning activities throughout Module 1

A. Learning Activity 1
First of all, the learning activity provided us the learning outcomes. There were three learning outcomes which must
be mastered after finishing the activity. They were about attitude, knowledge and skills. This first learning activity
explained us about personal letter. The main points we had to understand and apply were social function, text structure,
and lexicon-grammatical feature. Part one of the main session was reading three different personal letter. The learning
was supported by the video at the second session. This video helped us more on how to construct the text. At the end of
the session, we were forced to show how well we understood the learning material by having formative test 1.

B. Learning Activity 2
Basically the learning activity went the same as learning activity one. The learning began with an explanation of
learning outcomes to the end of the session that was formative test. At first, we were given the explanation about the
attitude, knowledge and skill that are going to be mastered by the participants of learning. The session continued to
getting to know of the annoucement itself. Furthermore, we were asked to construct the text. The learning activity was
also supported by some tasks at part one, reflective summary and ended by formative test.

C. Learning Activity 3
The learning began with an explanation of learning outcomes to the end of the session that was formative test. At
first, we were given the explanation about the attitude, knowledge and skill that would be going to be mastered by the
participants of learning. The session continued to getting to know of the analytical exposition itself. Furthermore, we were
asked to compare some of those kinds of text. The learning activity was also supported by some tasks, reflective summary
and formative test. Those chains of activity was held to help us understand more about the text being discussed.

D. Learning Activity 4

The process of the learning activity ran the same as activity 1, 2 and 3. But all in all, this learning activity was not as
complicated as those three activities due to the tasks given were not so many. Thing that made different with the others
was the reference stated in this activity.

3. Share your opinion about the contribution of this particular module to improve your professional competencies.

This module really helped me a lot in understanding personal letter, announcement, analytical exposition, and also
hortatory exposition. The explanation given by the module was very clear. The task of each text was so many, this aimed
to ensure the participants really understood the material given. but if I may suggest, please consider the assignment given
to the time participants have. Because all participants are teachers, of course, some of the time is used for doing the task
as a teacher.
