I am Nassriah O. Macarimbang, a graduate from Mindanao State University-Main Campus. As I
have
earned my degree of Bachelor of Arts in English, I am very much enthusiastic in applying the
skills learnt
and acquired in said program. I am confident that my upbringing in the Islamic city of Marawi
and being
a Meranao, is an edge in providing utmost assistance and service needed for the success and
effectiveness
of this government project. I have been involved in awareness and community based programs
since high
school, especially in college where I spearheaded a Meranao cultural awareness based
program in our
university.
I am proud of my classroom and field experiences, especially given that Mindanao State
University
aspires itself to be a world class university, not to mention their passion in making their students
competitive in both national and international fields. I have been also a field practicum/on-job
training
(OJT) in Provincial Local Government Unit of Lanao del Sur, specifically in the Provincial
Information
Office, where most assigned tasks were administrative works, such as drafting memoranda,
official
letters, writing and composing articles for their annual journal magazine. Apart from that is also
being
involved in coordinating, community organizing, and giving clerical or administrative assistance
to the
community and certain offices under the Provincial Capitol Office.
