This is the original pattern of Bootiecat by Elif T. You purchased it for

personal purposes, also may sell the ready toy you created with the help
of these instructions, but you are NOT allowed to sell the pattern, or/and,
copy, share, distribute the instructions via internet or paper even. Thank

Finished size:
Bootiecat is - with using similar yarn - and size 3 crochet hook around 30 cm from top to toe.

Abbreviations:
1. Yarn: the example is crocheted from Schachenmayr Sc – single crochet
Catania mercerized cotton yarn, 50g = 125m Dc – double crochet
2. Polyester fiberfill St(s) – stitch(es)
2. 1 button of your choice.
3. Crochet hook: size 3, or in accordance with the yarn you Sc2tog – 1 decrase
use. *x – repeat x times
5. Stitch marker, or a little piece of a different color of yarn. Slst – slipstitch
6. Darning or embroidery needle. (x) – crochet altogether x
7. Embroidery yarn, or dark brown and/or black colored
different kind of yarn for stitching the mouth line and
stitches this round

Additional information:
Work in continuous rounds. Do not join or turn if not instructed in the pattern.
It is adviced to use a stitch marker. Place it at the first stitch of the row and move it up when working
always to the first stitches of the rows.
When finishing any of the body parts except the head leave a long yarntail (around 20 cm) which you can
use by sewing.
Fill the stuffing into the body parts while crocheting them
except the ears. The head and body should be filled firmly, by
the arms and legs be sure that the upper parts are slightly softer
than down parts of each piece, and that you filled the pairs with
same amount of fiberfill, so the left ones shape won’t be
different than the right ones.

Stitch explanation:
Decrease (sc2tog) - Insert hook into st and draw up a loop.
Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw
through all 3 loops on hook.

same color.

Sewing
1. sew up the ears, the face patches and the nose, you may use the left
over yarntail from the nose for embroidering the mouth line. Stitch the
eyes with black yarn piece pulling them a little bit tighter to eachother.
2. Sew the head to the body.
3. Sew up the arms and legs and the desired button on the belt.
4. Stitch the bootlace on the boots with desired color yarn pieces.
5. Sew up the bow to the neck of your cat.
6. Now he is ready, nice job. :)
