General Information
Bitrate (Throughput) Measurement Description
• The number of bits / bytes counted includes the overhead added by the
measured protocol layer.
• The number of counted frames (or blocks) measures the frames / blocks as
defined by the measured protocol layer.
• The number of retransmissions counts retransmissions by the measured layer. If
higher layers retransmit it will seem like normal frames.
• All frames of the measured layer are included, including fill frames, control
frames, etc.
• Resent / CRC error blocks are not included in the normal block count but only in
the error count.
• Downlink frame errors are counted when a CRC check of the measured layer
fails or a retransmission is requested for other reasons.
This means that bitrate and frame counts in measured in the “bottom end” of the
protocol layer.

Status Probe Description

Status probes reports internal states or values at connect and state changes.
