Peugeot 307 engine warning light - this light will stay illuminated if there is a malfunction within the engine

after start up -
we would advise you to use the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 cable kit to diagnose the 307 engine problem and find the
Peugeot trouble code, the kit will also clear the codes & reset the dashboard light.

Peugeot 307 airbag warning light - indicates that there is a problem within the airbag system of your Peugeot 307.
Generally it is a loose connection somewhere but sometimes it can be more serious. We advise you to use a reset tool
that covers the Peugeot 307 airbag system such as the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 diagnostic kit. Once the problem has
been found and has been corrected, the airbag light can be removed from the dashboard of your Peugeot 307.

Peugeot 307 ABS warning light - indicates a problem with the ABS system. This light is normally acompanied by the
brake warning light and generally means that an ABS sensor needs to be replaced (but not always) We advise you to
use a code reader that covers the Peugeot ABS system such as the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 tool. Once the problem has
been rectified the ABS dashboard light can be removed.

Peugeot 307 brake system warning light - this warning light in your Peugeot 307 could indicate low brake fluid - check
your levels as soon as possible. If your brake fluid is correct you may need to take your Megane to the nearest Peugeot
workshop. This light can be accompanied by the ABS warning light (See above) if the Peugeot 307 has an ABS fault.
You can diagnose the problem yourself by using the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 kit.

Peugeot 307 passenger airbag light - indicates that the passenger warning light in your Peugeot 307 has been
deactivated.

Peugeot 307 foot on break warning light - when this warning light comes on,
you must put your foot on the brake (example: when starting the engine). If you do not put your foot on the brake, this
warning light flashes.
Peugeot 307 water in diesel filter warning light - this comes on for a few seconds
each time the ignition is switched on. If it comes on, with the engine running, this indicates that there is a risk of damage
to the injection system. Consult a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.

Peugeot 307 open door warning light - indicates that one or more of the doors in your Peugeot 307 is open or not closed
correctly.

Peugeot 307 fuel warning light - indicates that the fuel in your Peugeot 307 is low and needs to be filled up.

Peugeot 307 ESP warning light (traction control) this comes on for a few seconds each time the ignition is switched on.
While the engine is running and the vehicle is moving, it flashes if the system is activated. It comes on permanently
when it isdisarmed.

Peugeot 307 flat tyre warning light - indicates that one of the tyres in your Peugeot 307 is not inflated correctly - please
check your tyre pressures.

Peugeot 307 glow plugs warning light - wait until the warning light is switched off before starting. If the temperature is
sufficient, the warning light comes on briefly, you can start without waiting.

Peugeot 307 power steering warning light - this comes on for a few seconds each time the ignition is switched on. If the
light comes on when the vehicle is moving, it indicates a malfunction of the electric steering system. Contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or use the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 kit.
Peugeot 307 coolant warning light - this comes on for a few seconds each time the ignition is switched on. If this warning
light comes on, with the engine running, this indicates an abnormal increase in the coolant temperature. Stop
immediately.

Check the coolant level. To do this, wait until the engine has cooled before topping up the level. The cooling system is
pressurised.

Peugeot 307 STOP warning light - this flashes for a few seconds each time the ignition is switched on. Linked with the
warnings :
- "engine oil pressure",
- "coolant temperature",

Stop immediately if this light comes on with the engine running and hook it upto the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 Kit for
diagnose & repair.

Peugeot 307 seatbelt warning light - on or more of your passengers is not wearing their seatbelt. Buckle up!

Peugeot 307 battery warning light - this light will illuminate when your engine starts but should go out after a couple of
seconds. If the battery light in your Peugeot 307 does not go out it indicates that your battery is not being charged. It
could mean a few things
 The battery installed is not correct
 The alternatior is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced

 The battery has come to the end of its life and needs to be replaced

Peugeot 307 oil warning light - if this lights up during normal operating conditions and you hear a beep noise it is
essential that you pull over. You need to check the oil level and top up if required. If your oil level is correct you need to
have your car checked out by your local Peugeot workshop.

Peugeot 307 service warning light - this comes on for a few seconds each time the ignition is switched on. If this warning
light comes on, with the engine running, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display,
it indicates the occurrence of a problem in one of the systems which does not have a specific warning light. You can use
the Peugeot iCarsoft i970 kit to diagnose the problem.
