Industrial Revolution 4.0 make a major change in any way of the organizational
environment It also affects organizational structure nowadays. Industrial revolution
4.0 make everything more efficiently because of the advancement in
mechanization, automatization, and cloud computing. It has consequeces to
various impact at managing in resource, including human resource, needs to based
on technology so it prevent from uneffective and unefficient work. Many in the
organization that the human resource cannot use the technology maximally, it
because of the low technology education. They need to improve their skill based
on technology not only the managers, but also the employees.
In order to implement the organizational change, first, the organization
needs to make a change in individual human resource. Human resource is the
main key to achieve some change in organizational behavior. But, there is also
some condition that makes the employee resist the change. Based on the Robbins
(2016), The main reasons that make the people resist to change include
uncertainty, habit, concern over a personal loss, and the belief that the change is
not in the organization’s best interest.

The organization must make some strategies to reduce the effect of the
resistance of change. there are also many strategies that fit with the organization,
but it must be concerned with the target and change that occurs in the company.
Mostly, the strategies are how to manage the employee to raise their productivity.

First, Trust and engagement play important roles in the workplace.

Workers reported having more trust in their companies when the organization
recognize employees for their contribution, provide opportunities for involvement
and communicate effectively. Employees experienced higher engagement when
they had more positive perceptions of their employee's involvement, growth and
development, and health and safety practices. Many organization that cannot trust
the employees and managers being ended by having some conflict that harms the
company. Employees also want to participate in the company's growth so they
have some beliefs that they are needed by the company and the company will
ensure their life by raising their quality of life with the increase in wages.

Second, the company must make some brainstorming in their

organizations. Brainstorming is a kind of method that investing all of the ideas
from the participants, especially the managers and the employees. This method is
always effective and useful to determine the company's policy. But, generally, this
method always used by the leader to receive some ideas from the managers
without any participants from the employees. It can be more effective if the
company include the employees in this brainstorming. They have a different
viewpoint about the problem and have a great chance to create some brilliant ideas
affecting the company's policy. Generally, the company will give some problem
to the participants with the picture that depicting the problem, the main issue that
related to the problem, and just conversation that talking about the problem or
many more. Then the participant will give all of inside his mind to create some
unique solutions. But in reality, the company can modify the method as creative
as the manager can but also considering the effectiveness.

Third, managing the change efficiently and effectively. Change is constant

in every organization, but the employees fastly being the number one opposite of
the change that the organization makes. The main reason why they are being the
number one opposite of the change happened in the organization is bad managing
change in the workplace. Employees distrust in the organization's managing
change are the main factor. How the change process itself is communicated to the
employees is very important because it determines how they react. If the process
of what needs to be changed, how it needs to be changed and what success would
look like cannot be communicated, then resistance should be expected. Employees
need to understand why there is a need for change because if they are just thrown
the notion that what they have been used for a long time is going to be completely
renovated, with that will come much backlash.

Industry revolution 4.0 force the company faces the change in an

organizational environment. It will encourage the company to be flexible and also
improving every time. In the workplace, flexibility is the most considered factor
nowadays. The Millenials or young people always want the jobs that have some
flexibility like a uniform, work time, and also workplace too. One of the many
companies that have some flexibility is Google. Google has some policy that
makes sure for the employee to have a chance of improving their creativity to do
their jobs. Google also has a good workplace or office. Their building makes the
employee improve their creativity that make some influence on their productivity.
Their building also has some role in managing the stress that proven with the
employees who always happy. Based on the management theory, Google success
in managing the employee's stress level. It also supported with many incentive
and facility that boost the employee's productivity. They also have some insurance
that if the employee has passed away, their family will receive half parts of the
employee's salary. So, it can prevent the employee from distrust.

We can conclude that condition nowadays force the company to be

flexible at any condition because of change not only from inside the
organizational environment but also from outside the organizational environment.
The employee has the main key to the organization successful in adapting the
change. They must not be resistant with the change and always improving every
time. In the other side, the company must to make some policy that encourages
the employee's creativity, reduce the stress level, prevent from employee distrust,
so they can enhance the productivity as good as they need.
