I am a consultant and have been working with mentors and teaching coaching
classes for Washington County Public Schools for the last 15 years. This letter is a
recommendation for Tyler Stanton to be a lead teacher at Bester Elementary.

As a Grade 4 teacher at Pangborn Elementary, Tyler has had many opportunities to

demonstrate leadership and skill working with student teachers, hosting groups of
new teachers in her room as they observed and met with her about instructional
delivery and behavior management. Tyler was a stand out in both the Coaching for
Excellence class last fall and Advanced Coaching this spring. Her contributions
regarding issues facing other educators were outstanding as were her adept
coaching skills. I was so impressed with Tyler that I recommended her to Joni
Burkhart to be a participant in the Advanced Coaching class, one of the few
teachers asked to join a class designed for Lead Teachers. It was quite evident that
she has great insight into the role of lead teacher as demonstrated by discussions
held during class.

With that, I would highly recommend Tyler for your lead teacher position. She
would be a tremendous asset to you, your staff, students and community.
