Objective
Graduated from William Amos Hough High School in June 2015. Currently enrolled in Central Piedmont
Community College with a major in Early Childhood Education. While attending courses at Central Piedmont
Community College, I am a cashier at The Davidson Ice House, where I interact with dozens of customers each
day and form a bond with the returning customers as well. I am a friendly and energetic individual who has over
eight years experience working with special needs children and children up to five years of age. I am motivated
to help children become happy and successful in their education.

1. Blythe Elementary School 2 nd grade reading mentor to help reading and writing skills for children that
are below their reading level.

2. Blythe Elementary School 1 st grade substitute teacher.

3. Buddy Club, an organization that pairs special needs children with a Davidson College student for an
hour and 15 minutes on Saturdays to interact and play with the children. Some activities may include
playing board games, coloring or even just sitting on a comfy couch and talking.

4. Dance Davidson ballet instructor for four and five year olds.

5. Lose the Training Wheels, an organization that helps children with special needs learn how to ride a bike
in as little as one week.

6. Shadowing at Metro School in Charlotte. The students were freshman in high school.

7. Vacation Bible School for Kindergarten at Davidson College Presbyterian Church.

8. Worked in the infant room with three year olds at Davidson College Presbyterian Church.
