Interpretation of results is usually based on a comparison of measurements
made separately on each phase in the case of a wye-connected winding or
REFERENCE
between pairs of terminals on a delta-connected winding. Or comparison with
the factory results. Agreement to within 5% for any above comparisons are
considered satisfactory
In the absence of manufacturer’s published data. Comparison of winding
resistance values from phase to phase values are used to evaluate obtained data.
REMARKS /
All phase resistances are within standard deviation.
EVALUATION
Results are satisfactory.
RECOMMENDATION Annual winding resistance test is recommended.

REFERENCE The guide uses combinations of individual key gases and total
combustible gas concentration as indicators.
Condition 1 category: TDCG < 544ppm (Total Dissolved Combustible
Gases)

Condition 1: 254.6ppm

Total dissolved combustible gas (TDCG) within this level indicates that
REMARKS / the transformer is operating satisfactorily. However, for Individual
EVALUATION combustible gas; Methane exceeds normal range. This could be due to
a Possible localized overheating within the transformer. Since this is the
first sampling result, this could not be considered conclusive as we must
determine gas generation rate in order to conclude/determine active
fault. Retesting and trending of DGA is necessary to monitor rate of gas
generation.

Results are investigative.

RECOMMENDATION  Retest after 6-months to monitor combustible gas generation

rate and trend results.
