DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PIPE FITTER AND WELDER

Full welding of combination stainless steel pipe SCH 20” in all position from 2” Ø to 6” Ø

GTAW/SMAW process. All mentioned are in WPS and highly recommended of 100% radio

graphic test in accordance with rules of section ASME IX.

Assigned as Production Tig Welder at RCB Nuclear Power Reactor Area.

Full welding of small bore 2’’ up to 42 with all joint subjects for 100% radiographic test for

various steam lines using Tig and arc process.

Carries out variety of high pressure and general welding works in fabrication

Workshop and on site using TIG and ARC welding process.

Proficient on X-ray welding of materials such as carbon steel and low temperature.

Full welding of but joints small bore 1/2 up to 10’’ pipelines at boiler area with joints

subject for 100% radiographic test as per AME Sec. IX specifications. Full of large

bore 4 up to 60’’ pipelines for water, high steam, flare gas and different gas lines

using TIG and ARC welding process.

Attending Daily Safety toolbox Meeting

Layout, measuring, bending, cutting, grinding, assembling and installing metal pipes in all size

of pipes and valves

Inspect work sites for obstruction and to ensure that holes not cause structural weakness

Measure and mark pipes for cutting and treading

Moves materials and equipment to work location

Operate machines for cutting pipe such as grinder, pencil grinder and other
Ability to work on high elevation

Professionally represent the company at all times and in all meetings in the field or while

operating company equipment.

Check out tools as needed from Foreman and reports needed maintenance or repairs. E

Ensure those hand tools assigned to him/her free from theft or loss and in safe and efficient

working order.

Arrive on time for work at designated times and places

Do any additional tasks that are asked or needed to be completed.

Housekeeping Before and After Work

Perform landscape and irrigation layout and installation

Complete work assignments as directed by the Foreman

Read plans for proper installation

Follow safe work methods as discussed in safety meeting and in compliance with the

company safety policies.

Set a good example of safety and following direction for co-workers.

Ensure that labor under his/her charge receive and wear proper safety devices.

Know how to operate, ensure safe and efficient use of all equipment/ tools

Maintain all assigned equipment and tools in proper working condition and keeps them

clean and presentable.

Notify foreman of all tool and equipment needs, in advance, prior to use.

Professionally represent the company at all times and in all meetings in the field or while
operating company equipment.
