As stated above,
opportunities for
students to answer

tool called PEARDECK
throughout many of my
lessons. This provides a
way not only to hold
students accountable
throughout a lesson, but a

asking questions that
they answer on the spot
with their individual
devices. This affords me
numerous opportunities
to gauge student learning
and understanding and
appropriately adjust
subsequent focus or

Student View:
Continued strides to
monitor student learning
as well as adjusting
instruction is an area in
which improvement can
be made within my own
teaching approach.
however by focusing on
creating a more active
learner within the
classroom the monitoring
of student learning begins
to shift into the hands of
the students.
