Combined Order
Combining order is fantastic solution in DIMP. You can use that on following transactions.
• Planned Order
• Sales Order
• Production Orders / Process Orders (PP-PI)
It is able to combine production order as header and operation level. At this article, I demonstrated steps of combining orders as
header level. Before using this function, you have to activate DIMP Business Functions in Customizing. T-Code SPRO and click
Activate Business Functions.
Note: DIMP is able to be reactivated. However, some business functions not able to be reactivated. Ask your consultant before
done.

MRP created two planned orders, for same material and scheduled for same work center. Also, able to combine different materials
as well.
T-Code “MILL_OC”, entered material number and run… Following, I selected one reference order and run (F8).

I identified order type for header order on pop-up and click copy.

You will see production order create screen as CO01. You can change some data as header, operation and BOM level if required.

Pay your attention on total quantity as 7 (seven), means total of combined planned orders’ quantity. As same, SAP combined
components quantity of production order. You should see all tabs, and regarding sections of production order.

Save combined order and take following message.

To display head and sub-orders go to T-Code: CO03 as following. Also, able to display sub-order levels or overview of all orders.

Here are combined orders and hear order as tree level.

Now, I confirmed production for header order. T-Code: CO11N.

There would be a new button on top as “Quantity Distribution” when you entered header production order number. See as
following how quantities distributed per each order.


Here is “Good Movements” step as usual.

Order confirmation created for each production order automatically.

Let us see good movements, pay attention to 261 movement documents as header level, 101 movement documents as combined
order levels.

Other key point about activity confirmation is as following. All activities are confirmed as header level.
