*Fasten off the first leg but not the 2nd.
Next you will be joining the legs
together and crocheting up the body.

Body
Stuff the body as you go... make sure the arms are stuffed
all the way to the top. Stuff as firmly as possible. You may want
to support the neck with something else such as wire or pipe
cleaners. It's not a necessity but depending on the yarn you're
using it may need the extra support to avoid a bobble head.

I've done the lower part of the body in white, because her
dress flares out a bit. It's not necessary to do this, you could just
continue on in the skin tone color if you want to.

Change color to white and continue where you left off on the
2nd leg.

R1: 7 sc, ch 2, 15 sc around the other leg (make sure that

the legs are facing the same direction!), 2 sc in ch 2, 8 sc around
the first leg. (32)
R2: 7 sc, 2 sc in the opposite side of the ch 2 from row 1,
continue 25 sc around (34) R3-4: 34 sc (34)

R5: sc2tog, 15 sc, sc2tog, 15 sc (32)

R6: 32 sc (32)

R7: Change color back to skin tone: sc2tog, 14 sc, sc2tog,

14 sc (30) R8: 30 sc (30)

R9: 16 sc, sc2tog, 10 sc, sc2tog (28)

R10: 28 sc (28)

R11: (5 sc, sc2tog) x4 (24)

R12: 24 sc (24)

R13: (2 sc, sc2tog) x6 (18)

Next you will join the arms to the body:

R14: 2 sc, 9 sc around the the right arm,

9 sc around to the other side of the body, 9 sc
around the left arm, 7 sc (36)

R15: (4 sc, sc2tog) x6 (30)

R16: (3 sc, sc2tog) x6 (24)

R17: (2 sc, sc2tog) x6 (18)

R18: 8 sc, sc2tog, 6 sc, sc2tog (16)

R19: (2 sc, sc2tog) x4 (12)

R20: (2 sc, sc2tog) x3 (9)

R21-22: 9 sc (9)
Do not fasten off. Continue on to the head.

Head

Stuff the head as you go. Make sure the

neck is stuffed enough to give some support
to the head.

If you're using safety eyes, I used 9mm

eyes and placed them between rows 10 & 11,
9 stitches apart.

Stitch a nose between rows 9 & 10, and

add blush to cheeks if desired.

Continue from where you left off on the

body…

R1: 2 sc in each st (18)

R2: (1 sc, 2 sc in next st) x9 (27)

R3: (2 sc, 2 sc in next st) x9 (36)

R4: (5 sc, 2 sc in next st) x6 (42)

R5: (6 sc, 2 sc in next st) x6 (48)

R6-14: 48 sc (48)

R15: (6 sc, sc2tog) x6 (42)

R16: (5 sc, sc2tog) x6 (36)

R17: (4 sc, sc2tog) x6 (30)

R18: (3 sc, sc2tog) x6 (24)

R19: (2 sc, sc2tog) x6 (18)

R20: (1 sc, sc2tog) x6 (12)

R21: sc2tog x6 (6)

*Fasten off with a tail for sewing. Close up head.

Dress

The dress is made to be form fitting and can either be sewed up the back
once on the doll or left open. If you would prefer a removable dress, I
