INTRODUCTION

PROJECT TITLE: INSURE BUDDY

APPLICATION TYPE: Web Application

DESCRIPTION:

Insure Buddy is a web application which is developed for tracking the details of the insurance
policies, agent details and assistant details. This web site is an online tool to analyze the
information and on basis of that information provides statically data to calculate the Commission
of the Agents and the Assistants according to the policies .

Modules:

Admin Term Creation: In this Module the Admin will create the policy’s related to
various companies. All kind of information related to that policy will be entered by admin which
will later on can be used by the Agent and the Assistant.

Registration: The Registration Module is Specifically designed form for signing up new
Agent by the Admin. After the Agent signup, the same module can also be used for signing up
new Assistant under the Agent.

Policy Creation: This module is specifically designed for Admin Panel where the admin
Personalize the policies for various companies. Defines the basic needs of the policies, Time,
Duration, Age, Commission, Slabs, Type of Policy etc.

Policy Form Data Collection: The data collected by the Assistant form the ground level
is then submitted under the Agent and analyzed for further processing . Agent can submit the
collected data to the Admin where all the calculations are done.

Policy Commission Module: This module basically defines the percent of commission
will be given to the Agent and Assistant on every insurance.

Reporting: This is the Final Phase where every kind of reporting related to insurance,
policy type, amount, commission, Approval Status, Premiums etc. will be reported to the Admin.

Roles:
a) Admin: This module is the Client as well as the owner of the Website . This module
allows only Admin to log in and manage to create the Agent Module and manipulate
information users and create all kind of policies related to various companies.
b) Agent: This module allows to known the premium details of the users and product
details. This Module also Register Assistant under it.
c) Assistant: This module does all the user insurance’s and reports to the agent. All the
ground information captured by Assistant.

OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the application is to automate the existing system of manually
marinating the records agents! policies! premium! maturity! etc.!

SCOPE:
Th i s a p p l i c a t i o n c a n b e u s e d b y a n y P e r s o n t o maintain the Insurance
records of various company’s and agents working under him. He can track the daily
transactions, policy registrations, commissions per policy etc.!
