22112-2 Oil pump, replace

DANGER
Risk of serious injury.
The vehicle can be set in motion if appropriate safety precautions have not been taken.
▶ Before starting the engine, place the gear lever in neutral and apply the parking brake.
CAUTION
Risk of skin injury.
Injury to hands.
▶ Wear gloves.
CAUTION
Risk of material damage.
Dirt and foreign bodies can damage the lubrication system.
▶ Ensure that the work area is clean.
▶ Cover or plug openings immediately. If work on removed parts is disrupted, cover the parts.
▶ Ensure that tools, gloves and protective clothes are as clean as possible.
WARNING
Risk of serious burns.
Contact with a hot engine or hot engine oil can cause serious burns.
▶ Take precautions when draining the oil. Wear gloves and let the engine cool down before
draining.

5 Remove the dipstick.

The distance the dipstick is drawn from the outer casing ≈ 0.5 m

6 Disconnect the connector (3).
7 Press down the ring, and pull the outer casing (2) straight out.
9 Remove the pipe (1).

12 Position a container under the pipes.

▶ Ensure that the work area is clean.

1 Remove the drain plug.

2 Drain the engine oil.

3 Remove the screws.

4 Remove the sound baffles.

5 Remove the dipstick.

6 Disconnect the connector (3).

8 Remove the screws.

9 Remove the pipe (1).

10 Remove the screws.

11 Remove the oil pan.

12 Position a container under the pipes.

13 Remove the screws.

14 Remove the pipes.

15 Drain the collected fluid at a recycling facility.

16 Remove the screws.

17 Remove the oil strainer.

18 Remove the pipe.

19 Remove the reinforcement frame.

20 Remove the plug.

21 Install the cranking adapter (A).

22 Turn the crankshaft to access the oil pump screws.

23 Remove the screws.

24 Remove the oil pump.

25 Install the oil pump.

26 Install the screws.

27 Torque tighten the screws.

Oil pump, screw Tightening sequence: 1-4

28 Install the reinforcement frame.

29 Install the screws.

30 Torque tighten the screws.

Reinforcement frame, screw 1. Tightening sequence: 1-24

2. Tightening sequence: 1-24

31 Install the O-rings.

32 Apply engine oil to the O-rings.

33 Install the pipes.

34 Install the screws.

35 Torque tighten the screws.

Pressure pipe, screw 1. 45 ±5 Nm

36 Install the seals.

37 Apply engine oil to the seals.

38 Install the pipe.

39 Install the oil strainer.

40 Install the screws.

41 Remove the cranking adapter.

42 Install the plug.

43 Clean the contact surfaces.

44 Remove hardened sealant.

45 Apply recommended sealant as illustrated.

Sealant, bead thickness 2 mm

46 Install the oil pan.

47 Torque tighten the screws.

48 Install the O-ring.

49 Install the pipe (A).

50 Install the outer casing (B).

51 Connect the connector (C).

52 Install the drain plug.
