I. PRE-LESSON

a. Teacher greets the students

b. Teacher recalls the previous lesson with the


students
c. Teacher introduce the topic and objectives of
the lesson.

d. Teacher begin with a simple discussion about


“Emoji” with the students.

e. Next, teacher asks students to state their


favourite Emoji and the meaning

f. Then, students will play “Emoji Movie”. They


need to guess the title of a movie based on the
Emojis that are given in the video prepared by
theteacher.

g. After that, teacher will explain the elements of


narrative writing to students that is useful in
the writing activity.

ACTIVITY (Emoji Writing Prompt)

a. Teacher asks students to work in pairs. Then,


teacher will explain the instructions the
students.

b. In the activity, each pair will need to create


their own story by using emojis. This activity
will be done online, the emojis will be
randomly given to each pairs.

c. Each pairs will go to the website


http://byrdseed.com/emoji/ to generate
random emojis. Based on the emoji
generated, the pairs need to create a story.

d. Students need to include the elements of


narrative writing such as characters, setting,
plot and theme.

e. The students need to submit their work by


sharing it on padlet prepared by the teacher.

f. After all group have completed their work,


they will presents their work in front of the
classroom. (note: only be carried out if
there is enough time)
