General Instructions
1. Photograph of the candidate will be Capture before entry to examination hall for verification purpose.
2. Check the e- Admit card carefully & bring discrepancies if any, to the notice of BARTI immediately by sending email to
competitiveupsc@barti.in or bartidelhi19@gmail.com ,Helpline Number - 1800-212-005599 , Mention your Name, Date of Birth, E-Mail Id, Mobile
No. and Application ID, in your email under the subject line Correction in Admit card-BARTI-DELHI-CET-2020.
3. Candidate should carry e- Admit card and original photo identity proof like : Aadhar card, Driving license, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card. No
candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without E -Admit card and without Original Photo identity proof.
4. Candidate reporting time at centre : 09.00 am.
5. Candidate will not be admitted for the exam if he/she reports at the center after 10.30 am.
6. Entry closes at centre at 10.30 am.
7. Candidate can appear for the exam only at the centre allotted by BARTI on e-admit card.
8. Candidate are advice not to bring mobile device/s , electronic device/s to centre.
9. Candidates are advised not to bring any valuable costly items in the examination hall, as safe keeping of the same cannot be assured. BARTI
will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
10. Mobile phones, logarithm table, calculator or any of the electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed inside the examination hall where the
exam is being conducted. Any infringements of this instruction shall entail disciplinary action.
11. Candidate may carry Pen / Pencil for rough work.
12. Result of the exam will be published on https://barti.maharashtra.gov.in on Notice Board.
13. Candidates are advised to keep this admit card till the completion of Final Selection Procedure by BARTI, Pune.
14. For Physically Challenged Candidates - Physically Challenged candidates need to arrange writer for examination themselves. Such
candidates need to inform the respective centre prior to the examination. Physically Challenged candidates will get 20 minutes per hour extra
time for the examination. Physically Challenged candidates need to submit ' Physically Challenged Certificate ' at the examination hall.
15. In case of female candidates please bring the identity card of the name by which you have submitted online application form.
Marking Scheme
16. Negative Marking for wrong answer - There are four alternatives for the answer to question. For each question for which a wrong answer has
been given by the candidate, One-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
17. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is given by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Instructions regarding Online Exam
18. The clock has been set at server and count down timer at the top right corner of the screen will display left outtime.
19. To go to a question, click on the question number in the Question Palette on the right hand side of the screen.
20. Click one of the answer option buttons to select your answer.
21. To change an answer, simply click the desired option button.
22. Click on SAVE & NEXT to save the answer before moving to the next question. The next question will automatically be displayed.
23. The answer once saved, cannot be changed.
24. The color coded diagram on the right side of the screen shows the status of the questions :

25. Only the answered questions (saved) will be considered for calculating the final score.
26. When the time left becomes 0, then your assessment will be submitted by default, and you will not be able to make any changes.
27. Do Not PRESS any keyboard key once the examination is started. This will LOCK your examination. You can connect with the examination
invigilator to unlock and continue giving the examination.
28. If there is a power failure or network problem while candidate is attempting the exam, Candidate can login again after the problem is resolved
and continue the Examination. Candidate will be allocated the remaining time and the remaining un-attempted questions.
29. After the candidate starts the examination it will end automatically after the stipulated time elapses provided the candidate must be logged
in to the examination system during the time elapses.
30. Candidate is required to be seated for complete duration of the exam (120 mins).The exam will be automatically submitted after 120 mins.
31. Once the examination time is up, she/he will not be able to attempt it again.
32. Candidate needs to complete the examination in mentioned time only. Extension in time is not allowed.
