Activities
Pre-Lesson : 1. Write the ten colours in scrambled letter order on the board.
2. Pupils work in pairs and write each colour correctly.
Lesson : 1. Read through all the stages of the poster activity.
Development 2. Make sure they know what they have to do.
3. Hand out the poster paper to pairs of pupils.
4. Pupils write the colour words on their posters.
5. Distribute classroom object pictures to pairs.
6. Pupils name and describe the objects.
7. Then pupils identify objects with primary and secondary colours.
8. Pupils cut the pictures and stick them on their posters.
9. Distribute worksheets. (refer to Picture Dictionary Workbook page 119)
10. Pupils look at the pictures of classroom objects.
11. In pairs, they take turns to point to one of the pictures and say the word.
12. Then students write the words under the pictures.
13. Monitor and help as and when necessary.
Check with the class.
Post-Lesson : 1. Ask pupils what their favourite song, chant or game is from the unit.
Do the song, chant or game again with the class.
