Undertook original and copy cataloging initially processing a donated collection of books with
reproductions of works of Russian artist A. Zhitomirskii and exhibition catalogs of his works
primarily in Russian, but also in several European languages. Cataloging work included search of
local and remote databases using Millennium ILS, creation of call numbers and subject headings
using the ClassificationWeb tool, checking the shelfing list, Cyrillization for the 880 MARC fields.
The new and copied bibliographic records were created or updated according to RDA and local
cataloging practices and rules.
Authority work included search of the local and remote databases using Millennium ILS, creation of
new authority records and updating of the existing records in OCLC, and research for information to
differentiate individuals from the list of undifferentiated records.
