 Use Adobe illustrator to prepare exercise solution.
 You may consult tutorials, videos or any other material if the concept is not clear.

 It does not open, or file is corrupt.
 It is copied (partially or fully) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, you will be able to:

 Use given file Format in Adobe illustrator (Print, Web, Mobile Application)
 Use selection and direct selection tools.
 Understand the use of shape tool and Pen tool.
 Learn and draw straight lines, curve lines and interact with color fill and stokes.

Task A:

In this Task, you have to search the solutions of the following questions given in the
Video Lectures:

 How to choose an A4 file format in Adobe Illustrator (screenshot required)*


 Difference between the selection and direct selection tool?
 How to use selection and direct selection tools?
 How to use shape builder tool and pen tool? (screenshot required)*

Task B:

 Take a random cartoon character or illustration and redraw it using all the above mentioned
tools in task A. (screenshot required)*
 Compare your taken character with the character you drew using adobe illustrator side by
side (screenshot required)*

 Keep your work in layers, don’t merge layers after completing the task.

How to submit solution file on LMS?
