SW300 Single Pole Single Throw Normally Open

300A (Part of the Busbar Series)

The SW300 is designed for use in telecommunication and power distribution applications where an
uninterrupted load is switched. These contactors are primarily for use with Direct Current loads but can
also be used with Alternating Currents.

• Uninterrupted current - no or infrequent load switching requirements (maintains a lower contact resistance).

The SW300 features double breaking main contacts with
Thermal Current Rating (Ith) 300A
silver alloy tips which are weld resistant, hard wearing
Intermittent Current Rating: and have excellent conductivity. Silver plating on the
30% Duty 550A main contacts is standard for the SW300, however
40% Duty 475A optionally it can be excluded from the specification. The
SW300 is a compact contactor which can be busbar
50% Duty 425A
mounted vertically or horizontally, if mounted vertically
60% Duty 390A the coil should be at the bottom.
70% Duty 360A
