Throughout high school I have worked extremely hard to get good grades and I am

extremely proud to say that my transcript does indeed reflect that hard work. The first semester

of freshman year I got straight As except for in my biology class where I got a B. Although this

was partly because of the grading system the teacher used in this class I admittedly could have

worked harder to make it an A. However the next semester I worked even harder to bring my

grade up to an A. I was able to keep these straight As all the way through Sophomore year. Once

I began Junior year and began taking difficult AP and honors courses, my grades did start to

reflect that. I got Bs in both of my AP classes and one A and one B in the semesters of my

honors class. All though these grades were not as high as I would have liked, I am still proud of

them because I know that I tried my hardest in all of those classes. Senior year, I was much more

used to the rigger of an AP and honors class and I was able to get As in all of my classes except

for AP calculus which I indeed could probably have put more effort into and pushed for an A.

Although I may have not have received straight As all throughout high school, I still am proud of

my grades and my work put in.

Along with my grades, I have worked very hard to have a good attendance as well. These

past few years I have rarely missed school more than twice in a year and even in those

exceptional cases, I only miss school when it is absolutely necessary. For example this year I

have only missed one day within the entire year. Which has allowed me to maintain a 99.2%

attendance. I think that my attendance greatly reflects my commitment to things that I’m

involved in, especially school. I do not think that I was have succeeded this much in highschool

if it were not for my nearly perfect attendance through the years. I am extremely proud of both

my hard work and dedication that is seen through both my grades and attendance record.
