BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author is the fourth son of Danilo Gonzales Ymas and Anita Gontiñas

Sanchez. He lives in Brgy. Bayabas Abuyog, Leyte, born on the eighth day of

September at Brgy. Bayabas Abuyog, Leyte. He has four sisters and three brothers

namely: Michelle, Clear, Nicole, Karyll, Dennis, Vincent John and John Lloyd. He

finished his elementary education at Bayabas Elementary School in the year 2009 and

his secondary education at Abuyog National High School in the year 2013. During his

younger years, he wished to take up the degree Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at

Saint Paul School of Professional Studies formerly named Saint Paul School of

Business and Laws. Apparently, he decided to pursue the degree Bachelor of Science

in Mechanical Engineering at the Visayas State University, because he wanted to

fulfill the dream of his late father for him, which is to become an engineer.

The author is a former resident of Mabolo Men’s Hall for four months of his

first semester in VSU. However, he stayed in his eldest sister’s house at Albuera,

Leyte until he finished his first semester of his freshmen’s year. He decided to transfer

in a boarding house in the second semester of his freshmen’s year until junior’s year

at Brgy. Pangasugan Baybay City, Leyte and Brgy. Guadalupe Baybay City, Leyte.

He is current resident of Molave Men’s Hall.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The author would like to extend his heartfelt gratitude to the people who

helped and supported him in making this manuscript possible.

First and foremost, he is thanking to God for everything. Without his

guidance, love, care and protection this piece of work might not be done on time. And

for all the blessings that He bestowed upon him, for the food that he eats, the water

that he drinks, the air that he breathes, for having a wonderful friends and classmates,

for the family that inspired and supported him all through out of his journey in life

and most especially for the gift of life.

To his supportive parents and siblings who keep on inspiring and motivating

him every single day. To his father, although he had passed away he knew how proud

he is of him. He never thought he would survive the degree that his father had chosen

for him. He is certain that his father is one of the reasons behind his success in life. To

his mother, for caring and loving him, though she cannot support him financially but

she never failed to support him morally, emotionally and spiritually. And of course to

his elder sisters, he is thanking them for supporting him financially. It means a lot to

him.

To the faculty of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, he is thanking

them for imparting their knowledge to him. They had helped him grow as a person.

He learned so many things from them not only in the field of Mechanical Engineering

but also the basic principles in life.

To his On-The-Job Training teammates, he is thanking them for being his

companion all throughout the training. His On-The-Job Training would not be

remarkable without them all.

To the HISUMCO staff that have been part of his training most especially to

the Operation Manager, Engr. Fortunato C. Galos and Superintendent of the Boiler

Department, Engr. Lino De Los Santos, he is thanking them for accommodating him

to have his internship in their company.

To his On-The-Job Training adviser, Engr. Fernando D. Siervo, he is thanking

him in choosing a company where he took his On-The-Job Training.

And to all the people whom he failed to mention, their helped is highly

appreciated.

It is an honor to dedicate this piece of work to all the people who became part

of the author’s life as his journey towards the fulfillment of his dreams continues. He

dedicates this above all to the Almighty God in return for all His blessings.

To his family and relatives whose financial support motivates him to finish his

studies. This is the result of their unwavering support financially, emotionally,

morally and spiritually.

To his fellow classmates, he is very thankful for their support, encouragement,

strength and inspiration that motivate him in the completion of this manuscript.

To his coordinator and instructors who gave their brilliant pieces of advice and
