To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Megan Cook. I have gotten to know Megan
during the past two years at school and have watched her blossom in an optimistic, resilient, and
respectful young lady. The more confidence she has gained, the more decisive she has gotten and
determined to pursue her goals in education.

Megan has plans to attend Merced College in the fall and work towards her Liberal Studies degree. After
receiving her AA, she plans on transferring to a university, where she will major in Liberal studies and
minor in Culinary arts. Ultimately she plans to get her teaching credential and become a teacher. After
several years of experience watching kids, I think her patience and caring will make her an excellent
teacher.

Megan is confident, outgoing, and out spoken. She has excellent commination skills and enjoys trying
new things. Megan enjoys helping others and has over 250 community service hours. She has been a
teacher’s assistant and an office assistant. She also enjoys working with students with exceptionalities
on campus with as a PAL. In her free time she enjoys cooking and has a catering job to save up money
for college.

I have no hesitation about referring Megan for either any job she pursues or any scholarship she applies
for. She is an exceptional young lady with unlimited potential. If you have any questions regarding the
