The name of the business is “Puto for every Juan” because our product is
unique than the others and it is suit the taste of Filipino.

D. Product Description
a. Name of the Product
Our product name is called Puto de Fruta. We upgrade putong puti to be more
flavourful. We put different kinds of fruits in the mixture of putong puti to make it
unique than the old one. We called it Puto de Fruta because we put a twist on putong
puti.

b. Properties of the Product


Puto de Fruta is a new improved product of putong puti which is similarly
made like a putong puti but more unique than the old one. We add another ingredients
to the mixture of putong puti. This is poured in a molder of the puto and steam. After
steaming the puto it has a cream colour. And as compared to a normal putong puti,
it’s more flavourful and tasty because of the added ingredients on the recipe.

c. Uses of the Product


Puto de Fruta is mainly use as a dessert or snack. Also it can be serve in
particular occasions such as birthday parties, baptismal, holiday season, festivals and
etc.
E. Target Market
The researchers targeted individuals aging from 17 years young and
above. The product is both offered to male and female individuals who are located in
Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (Sumacab Campus).

From the 50 respondents who said that they have tried buying Puto de Fruta, 8 or 16 %
of them are buying Puto de fruta once a month; 12 or 24% are consuming two to three
times; 25 or 50% are consuming four to five times; and 2 or 10% are buying more than
five times a month. These numbers suggest that there is a demand of Puto de Fruta in
Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (Sumacab Campus)

Conclusion and Recommendation: The results of the survey revealed that there are a
large number of potential buyers of Puto de Frutas in Nueva Ecija University of Science
and Technology (Sumacab Campus) and it is also notable that there is a high chance of
acceptability among non-consumers of Puto de Fruta which both translates to demand
leading us, the researchers, to conclude that a Puto de Fruta business is feasible in the
university.
G. Marketing Objectives
 To achieve 60% of brand awareness from the target market within 5 months.
 To reach 75% sales of the total produced products within the 7 months.

H. Marketing Mix
a. Product
The researchers’ product offering is Puto de Fruta. It is a unique putong puti
with different kind of fruits inside of it. The researcher put different kind of fruits
because they found out that it is more tasty and healthier than the original taste of
putong puti.

b. Place
The researcher’ vision is to be recognized as the leading producer of Puto de
Fruta in the Cabanatuan City. The business establishment is located in Nueva Ecija
University of Science and Technology (Sumacab Campus) which will also serve as
the main distribution center of the product. The Puto de Fruta will also be distributed
to different parts of Cabanatuan City aligned with the business’ vision. The
researchers found out that it will be helpful for the business to reach its vision.

c. Price
Based on the survey, 75% of the respondents said that they are willing to buy
Puto de Fruta for ₱5.00 each. The researchers have priced their product for ₱5.00 in
order to penetrate the market. This price will be attractive to customers especially
because it is cheaper than those existing in the market.

d. Promotion
To promote Puto de Fruta the researcher gived freebies to the fellow
customer. The example of freebies are 1 cup of drinks if the customer 1 dozen of
puto.
