1 General information
AC-Win IP is the first enhanced attendant console type connected to HiPath 4000 via IP. AC-Win 2Q IP V1.0 and
AC-Win MQ IP V1.0) were put on one product CD ROM. During installation, you can decide which AC-Win type
should be installed (see figure).
Both enhanced attendant console types (AC-Win 2Q IP and AC-Win MQ IP) run exclusively on the Microsoft Win-
dows XP© Professional operating system.
AC-Win 2Q IP V1.0 and AC-Win MQ IP V1.0 support the following communication platforms:
● HiPath 4000 V2.0
● HiPath 4000 V3.0
● HiPath 4000 V4.0 with a Gateway-Board STMI2/HG3530 V2.0 and higher.
After installing the hard disk of the AC-Win PC, the following directories are generated:
● \ACDiag Diagnose Tool (Tracer) for AC-Win
● \ACWTDI TSP for external telephone directory applications (via TAPI dialling function)
● \Bin The AC-Win program files
● \Data Default configuration files for AC-Win (for example, color settings, ring tones, etc.)
● \Documents All manuals of the installed AC-Win types
● \Language Installed language packages (user interfaces, online help)
● \Log Log files generated by AC4-Diag, notebook and Redial
● \Template Directory of all possible AC-Win windows
● \Workspace Default and user-specific Workspace files
● \SoftOLA SoftOLA Programfile and Traceprogram of the SoftOLA
After the installation of AC-Win 2Q IP an additional folder appears:
● \Wav folder for the AC-Voice WAV files
Note: Not all current keyboard types have room for these templates. It is therefore recommended to use the
KBPC M1multimedia keyboard provided for AC-Win (see
(http://extranet.fujitsu-siemens.com/siemensag/de/top_sag/SalesPackageCom.html;in-
ternal&action=buildframes.action , see link AC-Win XP/AC-Win IP).
All AC-Win IP V1.0 manuals in the Central European language variants can also be ordered separately under the
following part numbers via PRISMA:
Example:
EINR-ACSU: vfnu, lage, wabe, cos, lcos, rngz1, rngz2, sprkz, ntvf, VFTYP=ACW2QIP;
An attendant console must be assigned to an attendant console group before it can be activated. Attendant con-
sole groups are set up and modified with the AMO VFGR.
Missing of TGRP parameter in AMO TACSU will lead to phantom ringing problems in AC-Win Appli-
> cation. Therefore, this parameter must be filled in for PENs used by AC-Win.
5. Select the attendant console type (AC-Win 2Q IP oder AC-Win MQ IP) you would like to install and click
the "Install" button.
Note: It is not possible to install or operate both attendant console types on one PC at the same time.
6. Click "Next".
7. Specify the destination folder in which you would like Setup to install AC-Win IP. You can choose the
recommended folder or use the "Browse" button to specify a different folder.
8. Click "Next".
9. Specify a name for the program folder on the Windows XP user interface or leave the suggested name.
The "Back" button allows you to go back one step and correct your entries.
12. If all the information is correct, click "Next".
The installation program then starts to copy the necessary data onto your hard disk. This can take some
time depending on your type of computer.
After all the data has been copied, the following window appears.
In this part of the dialogue the input and output of a call will be defined. Select a mixer, a microphone and a speaker
from the list. These data must be set otherwise AC-Win will not operate!
Click on „Save settings“.
Please enter the „Server IP Address“. This is the address of the PC where the CLA (Agent) part of the Licensing
runs.
After completing the Licensing settings close AC-Win IP and restart the PC. AC-Win is ready to operate.
