1. Problem Area/Domain:

In software industry, licensing of a software plays a vital role in revenue

generation of a company. So as the company develop the software(s),
managing those software licenses is a tedious job and lacks lot of
efficiency.

2. Tentative Problem(s)/Objective(s):

Number of Software organizations are now adopting a strategy in which

software-intensive systems are being developed. So the purpose is to
develop such software which has an open architecture (OA) that may
contain open source software (OSS) components or components with open
APIs and which also manages the licenses of the software developed by the
company.

3. Proposed Solution(s)/Your Role:

The currently proposed solution is to develop a software which has a

centralized licensing system for all the products developed in an
organization. My role currently is of a Front-end Developer. Thus it
requires the understanding of the complete flow of the project and design
the user-interface accordingly. Role also requires me to co-ordinate with
the Middleware and Backend and thus allows me to be familiarized with
terminologies such as API’s and SQL server. The internship also has a
rotation policy in which they expect us to get familiar with all the areas of
Tax Technology Team.
