In Hebrew there are both masculine and feminine grammatical conjunctions. Please note that when
there are both male and female forms of a word, (f ) connotes the feminine form. The letters “ch”
make a guttural sound existing in many languages, although not in English, (e.g. kh or ch in Scottish
loch, as in Chanukah or like the Spanish jota). This sound is similar to the sound heard when clearing
ones throat. Remember that Hebrew starts from right to left, so if you try to read the Hebrew script,
start from the right! However, you can read the Hebrew pronunciation/transliteration the same
way you read English! When “ah” are together like in the word “aht”/ you (f ), the ‘a’ sound is extended
for a longer ‘ah’ sound.
