The natives who lost their lives. Lament. Look at the empty ground, without walls and roof.

Every house
is a place to back. Every house is a place to take refuge. Every home, is by hard work built with sweat.
And now, it is helplessness that follows a hope. But we believe that hope is still behind the rubble of this
house.

TBM Calcaneus assigns more than 60 members, consisting of 9 teams ... to help earthquake in Lombok.

The first quake immediately i ran out, I was encouraged by my husband ... let's jump ... maybe if the
three of us didn't jump, we were hit by collapse first. Then, that night the lights were still on, the uncle's
house in front of my house had collapsed first, then followed by a huge earthquake, but the earthquake
model was like lifting, not swaying, it’s like we jumped up. It just turned off the lights, and after that, all
houses were collapsed.

Come home dad, come home dad. He said that it’s earthquake ... Go home, come home ... I also call her
to back home, go home. Where are you? She said, I was on the way, I said hurry home, son. Yes mom,
wait, wait for me, she said that ... don't leave me mama ... I said yes son, I woludn’t leave you, I wait for
you.

What happen to my child? Where is she? I want to hear her voice. Calm down ... patiently ... strong in
prayer, where is my child? Your girl can't do anything. And that already ... I didn't expect anymore... my
child survived ...

Her goal is to be a policewoman ... Dad... if I don't become a policewoman, I don't want the school again,
she said... I say don't son... if it's done, it's far away ... especially like war ... someone dies ... no nothing ..
if I die for the sake of defending the country I am willing .. I am sincere ..

I'm Dr. Udin Malik, as the Team Commander of the Lombok Earthquake Medical Team from the Medical
Aid Team of Calcaneus FK Unhas ... I went down as the Lombok earthquake medical team because I was
told that the impact of the Lombok disaster was so great. Hundreds of people died, thousands of houses
were damaged, while as we all know where the disaster will certainly destroy health facilities and other
public facilities, so that is where I feel called to go down to become a medical team.

The Calcaneus Medical Assistance Team has a Disaster Management Strategy, in which we divide into
two stages. In the first stage, in the emergency response phase, we respond by lowering the Emergency
Medical Team which aims to comb the victims who need immediate medical treatment, such as broken
bones, torn wounds, and several other cases. In addition, we also deployed a team that was tasked to
conduct health checks, both those that were fixed in certain posts, and those that were mobile to
remote villages.

In the rehabilitation phase, TBM Calcaneus implements: Post Disaster Primary Health Care Recovery
Program where the program aims to provide stimulants to primary services, namely Puskesmas, so that
services can immediately rise, can be recovered. Our strategy is 3, the first is assistance to employees or
local health workers, so that they are again motivated, again empowered to immediately return services
as before the disaster.

Second, we provide a Capacity Building program, where when health workers do not know certain
things, we give them related material intake, for example: when there is a vaccine case, it has not been
stored in the storage for a long time, this is certainly a matter of energy medical, whether this vaccine
can still be used or not. Fortunately, we get material assistance from the Ministry of Health, so we
theoretically have been able to find out whether this vaccine is still safe, or is no longer suitable for use.

The third strategy is through advocacy, to agencies or to strategic partners. The problem after this
recovery phase, in addition to restoring the function of primary health services, namely puskesmas, we
also trace health problems, such as infectious diseases in evacuation, then how to prevent diseases due
to poor sanitation, we also conduct health promotion, other than the main task we are making sure
post-operative victims get proper wound care, so there are no complications.

This 1000 Matras program, we have planned since the beginning of the disaster response phase in the
Lombok Earthquake. The background because in every disaster, especially the earthquake, the primary
needs of the refugees and victims are how decent temporary housing is. So we took the initiative to
send hundreds to thousands of mattresses to Lombok, which are used for temporary housing, as a base
for sleeping and resting for the residents. So far we have sent all the mattresses and scattered in various
sub-districts that are in dire need. And in this disaster response phase, the mattresses that have been
donated from donations and friends of relations throughout Indonesia, we will prioritize to be donated
to temporary houses of worship, and emergency schools. So as a basis for worship, and as a foundation
for the teaching and learning process.

The wound was still gaping. A real wound in each of our eyelids. Wounds that scream in each of our
ears. And the same wound. Now it appears in other parts of the island. Will we be silent. Humanity.
Don't stop here.
