Hello Parents/Guardians!
My name is Mary Jane ( also known to your child as M x. Braydee) and I will be
student teaching alongside Mr. Hocker this school year! After this student
teaching practicum I will be graduating from Vancouver Island University with my
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a teachable specialization in
Social Studies. I am passionate about creating student-driven, engaging, and
dynamic units and I’m looking forward to getting to further strengthen my practice
this year!
I’m originally from Winnipeg, MB, but I’ve been living and studying in Nanaimo for
the past five years. I’m lucky to have two playful cats named Sugar and Martha,
and in my spare time I enjoy reading and learning languages.
This school year is sure to be full of new and exciting learning and growing for
both your child and myself! I can’t wait to get to know you and your child
throughout the next few months!
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me
through my e-portfolio.
S incerely,
Mx. Braydee
