PIPING MAINTENANCE

a) PIPING Fabrication, Erection, Hydro testing and Dismantling.

VALVES

Experiences in installation, servicing and testing various types of safety and relief
valves, including pilot safety valves and conventional valves.
a) On line popping and reseating pressure setting of the safety valves on high
pressure boilers.
b) Servicing and testing valves like gate valves, globe valves, angle valves, ball
valves, types of check valves, (Piston, swing, minimum flow) plug valves, 4 way plug
valves, deluge valves, diaphragm valves, butterfly valves, hand control valves.

PUMPS

a) Having relevant experience in maintenance in all types of pumps such as

centrifugal, reciprocating and rotary pumps.

b) Obtaining a complete checklist of the dismantled equipment and keep a record of

the same.

c) Inspect the condition of rotating parts namely shaft, sleeve, impeller, oil
deflectors, wearing, bearings, coupling and stationary parts such as casing stuffing
box, distance pieces and bearing housing.

d) Renewal of mechanical seals replacement of rotor checking wearing and throat

bushes, bearing clearances.

e) Maintaining the required float in multistage pumps, check endplay.

f) Checking the endplay squareness and concentricity using a dial gauge while pump
assembly.

g) Hydro test of pumps to determine mechanical seal and casing leaks.

h) Over hauling of reciprocating pump including renewal of plunger packing suction

discharge valves checking & servicing.

SAFETY EQUIPMENTS

Familiar with all safety systems in the plant like Emergency shutdown, Fire & Gas
Sirens, gas detectors, abandon Alarms, and knowledge of using Dry Powder
extinguisher, Co2 Extinguisher, Fire Foam, Fire hydrant, Eye washer and Breathing
apparatus etc.
