When a person old enough to be responsible for a crime? This question needs to
be investigated because the current law is not good enough
The law at present protects children aged between ten years and four years from
being punished for committing crimes. It is believed that children under
fourteen years are too young to realize the seriousness of their crimes. Mr.
Stephen Scarlett, head of the NSW Children’s Court, describes how clever
young offenders use this defense, saying that they are too young to understand
that they have broken the law. Mr. Scarlett, an expert on this subject, states that
the age should be dropped from fourteen to twelve years. I agree with this.
Teenagers these days are far more sophisticated than those in the past. The law
should recognize this. In a recent survey some people suggested that the age for
being responsible for a crime should be dropped to eight years old. This, I feel,
is too young. Fourteen, however, is too old. Is there anyone who believes that a
fourteen-year-old does not know that it is against the law to steal or vandalize
property? By the age of twelve, children are aware of what is legal and what is
Public pressure creates change. It is now up to the public to put pressure on the
government to change the age at which a person may be held responsible for a
crime from fourteen years to twelve years. Out of date laws have no place in a
modern society, especially one that needs people to be responsible for their

Mobile Phones in the School
Recently most people own mobile phone. Why does mobile phone user increase
dramatically in recent years? First, the feature and functions has increased. Mobile phone is
not used just for calling, but sending text, taking pictures, recording videos, accessing
internet, playing games and much more. Second, mobile phone has also become a lot
cheaper. Now this communication device does not only fill the pocket of adult but also
teenager and student. Even a lot phones are intentionally designed to teenaged market.
However should they be allowed to bring them to school.
Many schools do not allow students to bring cell phones to school. It is very reasonable
because bringing phone to school potentially disrupts the learning process. Most students
use cell phones irresponsibly. They use cell phones to talk to their friend during class time.
They also use the calculator and camera features in the class as well. Those potentially lead
less concentration in the time of learning and teaching process.
Students go to school to learn and behave fair way. Mobile phones provide a large
temptation to cheat in tests. They can communicate to anyone and almost anywhere in the
world. Because of the small size of the cell phone, students can send a text quietly and
discreetly. The text can go unnoticed anywhere to get help on answering tests, homework,
and other class assignment. Learning in school is to behave fair not cheating.
Therefore, schools should ban students from bringing their cell phones. However it should
be done fairly. In case of an emergency some student need a call for help, providing easy
access to phone is better.

Far away
This ship has taken me far away
Far away from the memories
Of the people who care if I live or die

I will be chasing a starlight
Until the end of my life
I don't know if it's worth it anymore

Hold you in my arms

I just wanted to hold
You in my arms

My life
You electrify my life
Let's conspire to ignite
All the souls that would die just to feel alive

I'll never let you go

If you promise not to fade away
Never fade away

Our hopes and expectations

Black holes and revelations
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations

Hold you in my arms

I just wanted to hold
You in my arms

Some people live for the fortune

Some people live just for the fame

Some people live just for to play the game

Some people think that the physical things define what’s within

And I’ve been there before

But that life’s a bore

So full of the superficial

Some peole want it all

But I don’t want nothing at all

If I ain’t got you baby

Some people want diamond rings

Some just want everything

But everything means nothing

If I ain’t got you

Some peole search for a fountain

That promise forever young

Some people need three dozen roses

And that’s the only way to prove you love them

Hand me the world on a silver platter

And what good would it be?

With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me

If ain’t got you with me baby

Nothing in this whole wide world don’t mean a thing

If ain’t got you with me baby
