The CBRC Enhancement Seminar
started at exactly 8 in the morning at Parkway Hotel, function hall. It was attended by the practice teachers from Dr. Carl E. Balita during his speech regarding SSCT main campus, Malimono campus, on LET concerns. NEMCO practice teachers, and the TCC from SSCT. The speaker was the owner of the review center himself, Mr. Carl Balita. He introduced their review center and he told us that their review center was operating for three years as for now.

done alone. There are people behind us that lend a hand to reach our goals and dreams. They are the one who encourage us emotionally and help us intellectually to mark a difference. To be fully equipped for the upcoming BLEPT, Ms. Marivic Yamit explained their mission different review centers were introduced and vision of their review center. to us as our partner for the preparation of ourselves for taking the LET. One of the review centers being introduced to us is the PEAK Excellence Review Center.
Last April 05, 2019, at exactly
1:00 in the afternoon, the BSED and BTTE students from SSCT main campus and Malimono campus attended the enhancement seminar conducted by the PEAK Excellence review center at the third floor of the SIMTOCO building. . Before it was started, the staffs gave a diagnostic test to all of us practice teachers. It was Ms. MarivicYamit who explained well about the PEAK Excellence Review Center as to what they can offer to us. Their vision Miss Marivic Yamit show the rationale of is to have a learning institution of choice their review center tuition fee. for professionals sought after its excellent teaching training. Their mission is to develop community of professionals working together towards making the Philippine society a better place to live in and to empower men and women to serve others with compassion.
If we will choose PEAK Review
Center, the incentives that we can get from them are the intensive reviews (pretest and post test), mentoring, majoring, final coaching, pre-board, and test taking strategy. They have also a certified high passing rate with topnotchers and a top caliber national and resident review specialist. Miss Yamit during her explanation about the LET concerns. The Spiritual Enhancement
Seminar was attended by Practice Teachers from different teams including the TCCs, and the SSCT instructor Dr. Merlyn Estoque and Practice Teaching Coordinators Dr. Cases Dalaygon, Ma’am Marivel Catacutan and Ma’am Sebag. The spiritual seminar is said to be open for all student teachers regardless of religions but for the non- catholics, attending was not compulsory. The seminar started at exactly 9:00 am. Before the recollection started Dr. Dalaygon then announced and discussed the House rules like no one is allowed to eat inside the Divine Mercy Chapel. On 9:15 a.m Rev. Father Yohanes Dua Dami Bao gave his message as the start of the recollection. He started that recollection is about recollecting those memories we had and reminiscing those memories and experiences before.And he formally introduced himself by sharing his life as a natural- born Indonesian who went to Philippines for a mission. After that, he let us Practice Teachers dance a series of Christian songs. Everybody should dance or else that someone who doesn’t with dance in front of everyone. After lunch at the back of the Divine Mercy Monument Then discussed humility, anger, envy, brotherly love, avarice, generosity, sloth, diligence, gluttony, temperature, lust and chastity as those words were complete opposite of each other. After that, Father Bao instructed us to write a love letter for our parents, in three (3) paragraphs: thank you for the first paragraph, sorry for second paragraph and lastly is wishes. During that time I cried a lot thinking of all the things I went through in life with my parents by my side. Some student teachers participated but I did not. It is because my closest friends/classmates were not around during that time since they went home early. Saint Louis Review Center is one
of the review centers available here in Surigao City. To make us convinced to enroll in their review center, there was an enhancement seminar conducted by Prof. Descallar introduced the SLRC theSaint Louis Review Center held at to the SSCT student teachers. Simtoco Building, Burgos Street. The seminar was conducted last April 04, 2019 and it was participated by the practice teachers from SSCT main campus and Malimono Campus.
It was Prof. Ian Cid Descallar who
introduced all about the Review Center, and he stated all the advantages we can get from their review center. There are also tips on how to study well and learn the lessons quickly he shared with us. Since their main goal is to have topnotchers, he highlighted the majorship in their review center and also he shared tips on how to be on top of the board exam.According to Prof. Descallar, SLRC was started in the year 1989 and they have 25 branches all The Professor Descallar explain and over the Philippines already. “It was give some tips on how to pass the LET hard work and passion why SLRC was exam. built”, Prof. Descallar said.
Aside from giving tips on how to top the
exam, Prof. Descallar also informed us the grading system as to how much percentage should a LET taker must achieve in order to pass the board exam. Based on the CHED Memorandum, there are two part of BLEPT, namely, Secondary Education and Elemntary Education. There are 3 parts of the exam, the General education which has 20%, the Professional Education which has 40% and the Majorship which also has 40%.
SLRC gave a Certificate of Attendance
That is for Secondary Education, while in Elementary Education, it has only two parts the General Education which has 40% and Professional Education which has 60 “In order to pass an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests”- Professor Descallar emphasized.
In addition, Prof. Descalar, emphasized
the assurance of their review center in producing LPT and top nochers. He even encouraged all the practice teachers to enroll at SLRC because they can assure us that they can help us to pass the exam and be on top. He proudly presented their top notcher from their review center. He talked about the The sample diagnostic test questionnaire on schedule for the review and gave Mathematics discounts for the latin achievers.
There are 4 parts of the review program
of SLRC. In the first part, it is the orientation/ trending exam. In second part was the extensive review. Part 3 was the pre board exam with rationalization. And the last part is the final coaching.
A 40-item Mathematics drill ended the
seminar and Prof. of the drill. He gave rewards to those individuals who got high scores by giving books. As he gave his closing remarks he left a quote saying “If I made it before, definitely you will make it!” Having a review it needs a full of effort, time, devotion, and sacrifices.
