Argumentative Essay

Being in a all gender school is like putting cats and dogs in the same room. When your in

an all gender school , students don’t concentrate on their work because their more focused on

their relationship or getting into fights. Many people may disagree with my opinion, they think

students will learn better in an all gender school because they will learn how to be willing

collaborators. However, being in the same gender school, resources say that same gender schools

have a higher rate of students graduating and going to college than an all gender school.

Many parents want their teenagers to graduate high school and go to college, but many

of them don’t. Some of them just drop out or don’t have the G.P.A requirements to be eligible to

to graduate and that sucks. To me, I think that makes the parents look bad because it’s their child

and their child not graduating is pretty sad.it’s like if their parents never pushed them or helped

them raise their G.P.A percent up so that their son/ daughter could graduate.

On the other hand parents who put their teenagers in the same gender school most likely

are eligible to graduate. You may ask why, well in the same gender school their re less

distraction, less fights because in an all gender school most of the girl fights are over boys, but

since there won’t be any boys most of the fights would be over projets or not getting a project

finished. Same gender schools also have students that pass the G.P.A requirements and honestly

that's amazing because now their not only eligible to graduate but they might even get accepted

to a UNIVERSITY, not a Cal-State or a College but a University!!!

The ​New York Times​ article says “ Same sex-education is ineffective,misguided and may

actually increase gender stereotyping”. This phrase of this article shows us how single sex

gender schools can be a good education for kids. It helps them concentrate in school, have better

grades and a higher chance of attending a University, Cal-State, or College.

Do you still want your child attending an all gender school? If you do then just make sure

your child actually does their work and doesn’t slack off with other schoolmates. If you think

that being in the same gender school is better for your son/ daughter, then i agree with you. I

think you made the right choose and your son, daughter will be a successful person in the future.
