With all respect to my lectures and all of my beloved friend who join this lesson. Frist of all, let us thank
to Allah SWT which gave us blessing and healthy, So, we can gather on this lesson. Let me introduce
myself, my name is Eza kenangi.
Ok lets get started, please look at the first slide. What do you see in the picture? work accident? Why did
it happen? The answer is because of the lack of personal protective equipment.
In manufacturing companies, especially in the electricity sector, is potentially dangerous for workers'
safety. Therefore, workers need equipment or tools to protect themselves so as to reduce the risk of
danger and accidents.

So, the first protective equipment is.

1. Safety Helmet

The safety helmet is used to protect the Head from exposure to hazards such as falling objects or
exposure to electrical hazards

2. Safety Glass

Safety glass is used to protect the eyes from the dangers of sharp objects, dust, small particles, and
sparks of chemicals.

3. Safety Mask

Mask is a tool used to protect breathing such as Nose and Mouth from dangerous risk like soldering
smoke, dust and chemical odor.

4. Safety Gloves

Safety Gloves are tools used to protect the hands from sharp objects or low to high voltage electrical
currents.

5. Safety Shoes

Safety Shoes are tools used to protect the feet from the fall of sharp objects such as glass, chemical
solutions and electric current
