1 INTRODUCTION
Websites are a group of web pages which are usually made of hyperlinks to one
another, made available online by companies, individuals, educational institutions, the
government or organizations. These different groups have different reasons for creating
websites but serving a common purpose depending on who the intended audience is.
Some are to share your passion, some to inform people about your business, others are
geared towards entertainment purposes, others to sell products and tons of other
reasons as there may be (Webself, sd).
There are different types of websites, those with the purpose of informative/practical
information, the purpose of entertainment, the purpose of E-commerce, he purpose of
service-based business, the purpose of blogs, the purpose of social media and even for
the need of professional help (D'Ambra, 2018)
Also depending on which part of the world you come from, this could play an important
role in how your website could be created. A good website should:
Have a solid layout – make use of wireframes, be generous with whitespace.
Effective typography – use easy to read fonts and clear hierarchy that
differentiates between headings, make it legible by using high contrast between
the texts and the backgrounds.
Use the right colour scheme – Try to be different, a little colour is always the right
colour.
Make use of appropriate design elements – being consistent in action, pay
attention to detail and note that less is really more.
Finding websites related to any topic of your choice on the internet is one of the most
easy things to do irrespective of whether the information is reliable, up to date or
unbiased. Depending on the purpose of your website, you may be subjected to meeting
certain standards which sets more importance to critical examination of the information
you add to your website, as anyone can also create a website. To ensure this, these 5
criteria could be used to evaluate websites to make information less confusing (Jones,
sd).

pleasant experience of working together. Everyone found their perfect spot within the group
which made the puzzle complete. With no one hesitating to help each other, we can deliver
a work of which we are proud and had a pleasant time making.
