Documents To Be Submitted (Sale - Single Company)

2 Audited Accounts

company. The audited accounts for a particular financial year is accepted for a licence application up to 18 months after the clo
the financial year. If the company has submitted the same set of audited accounts to be used for the current application to the
Controller earlier, these need not be submitted again.

Example:
If a company's financial year ends on 31 Dec, the audited accounts for the financial year ending 31 Dec 2014 will be
accepted for a licence application up to 30 Jun 2016. For a licence application submitted from 1 Jul 2016 onward, the
company will be required to submit the audited accounts for the financial year ending 31 Dec 2015.

If the company has submitted the audited accounts for the financial year ending 31 Dec 2015 with a licence application on 1
Aug 2016, it does not have to submit the audited accounts again if it applies for a licence on 15 Dec 2016.

b For a new company, an auditor's certificate of the paid-up capital of the company if the latest paid-up capital is not updated
in the company’s Business Profile at the time of submission.

3 Project Account or Banker's Guarantee/Insurer's Guarantee

a For an application for a sale licence, confirmation letter from the Project Account Bank that a project account has
been opened; or

b A Banker's Guarantee or Insurer's Guarantee of 140% of the total cost of construction in lieu of opening of a project accoun

4 If the developer is not the landowner, the following documents are required:

a Power of Attorney
In the Power of Attorney, the landowner would grant the developer a power of attorney to develop the land and it should be
irrevocable until the sale and purchase of the land for the residential development is completed.

b Deed of Confirmation
In the Deed of Confirmation, the landowner and developer would confirm that the developer is entitled to carry out the
construction of the housing project. The landowner would also declare that he is bound to and would transfer the titles
