Day 01
Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s exciting and comprehensive tour to Egypt-‘The
land of Nile’. Enjoy the stunning sound and light show

Today, embark on your exciting tour of Egypt. On arrival in Cairo, you be greeted by
your friendly Thomas Cook tour manager / local representative outside the baggage
hall. Proceed and check in to your conveniently located Hotel (Standard Check-in
time is 1400hrs). This evening, enjoy Sound and light show. You can get a glimpse
back in time to see, feel and imagine how it was when the powerful Egyptians ruled.
Tonight enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local Indian restaurant.

Day 02
Full day tour of Alexandria

After American breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Alexandria. See the Catacombs
of Kon-El-Shokafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Montazah Gradens. Today enjoy a
sumptuous lunch. Transfer back to Cairo and enjoy dinner at a local Indian restaurant.

Day 03
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the ancient capital city-Cairo. Live the experience
of the land of the pharaohs. Visit the mysterious Sphinx. Later Visit the Egyptian
Museum and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.

After an American breakfast at your hotel, we depart on a guided tour of this ancient
capital city. On the west bank of the Nile, facing Cairo and on top of the Giza plateau,
rise the three Pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus, and guarded
by the mysterious sphinx, a mythical statue with a body of a lion and a human head.
The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the
World. Also see the Cairo tower, one of the more recent landmarks of Cairo rising to
a height of 187 meters. Today enjoy lunch. See the famous Egyptian Museum which
houses more than 2, 50,000 antique pieces covering the whole history of ancient
Egypt, which extends over the past five thousand years; the most splendid being the
collection of Tut Ankh-Amen. Later, you can visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar and the
Al Sagha market place were you will come across some interesting jewellery shops
or go shopping to pick up souvenirs on your own. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous Indian
dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 04
Visit the massive Abu Simbel temples - A UNESCO world heritage site. Proceed to
Aswan – one of the most beautiful cities of Egypt. Get set for the time of your life as
you board your luxurious Nile River cruise.

Today enjoy a box breakfast and later proceed to the airport for your flight to Aswan.
Proceed to Abu Simbel visit the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel dedicated to
Gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as to the deified Rameses. After which
we proceed to the Cruise centre to board the luxurious cruise liner – The Nile River
Cruise. Enjoy the delicious ‘welcome aboard’ buffet dinner consisting of cuisines from
various part of the World.

Day 05
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Aswan on your city tour. Visit the city sights of Kom
Ombo including the magnificent Temple of Two Gods.

Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise. We then visit the temple of Philae dedicated to

Goddess Isis and then enjoy a guided city tour visiting the High Dam – one of the
outstanding architectural achievements of the twentieth century. Later in the day, we HOTELS ENVISAGED
proceed to visit the famous ‘Temple of Two Gods’. Dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris,
the crocodile gods, this temple was constructed during the Roman era and is noted
for the engravings on the walls in Kom Ombo. Enjoy meals on board the cruise. City Hotel

Day 06
Onto Edfu. Visit the temple of Edfu. Sail to the magnificent town of Luxor - “City of Luxor (1N) Hotel Steigenberger Nile Palace / Similar
Palaces” via Esna Lock.

After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we sail to Edfu town situated on
the west bank of the river Nile. On arrival, we proceed to the famous Edfu temple INCLUSIONS
dedicated to God Horus, represented by the Falcon. This is one of the most beautiful
Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure that blends Pharoic
and Greek architecture. Enjoy the sights of the Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Air fare :
Cruise sails to Luxor via the Esna Lock. Enjoy meals on board the cruise. After a day

Marvel at the architectural brilliance of the various temples
Accommodation :
After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we visit the famous tombs in the Valley
of Kings and also see the temple of Hatshepsut. We then proceed to the Colossi of • 03 nights’ accommodation in Cairo.

• The group tour will operate with a Tour Manager subject to a minimum of 20 full-
paying passengers travelling together.
