I am writing this reference letter at the request of Dashnyam Battushg, who is applying for a
Masters Degree program in Image Processing and Computer Vision at partner universities
starting with your university. I have known Dashnyam for three years as his professor and
dissertation mentor.

I have had the opportunity to teach various classes including Programming Language,
Mechatronics, Control of Robot Manipulator and Digital Image Processing to him during his third
and fourth year of university. I must mention here that he has always been at the top of my
classes and showed excellent academic achievements as well as personal skills. I also mentored
his dissertation project during which he built three-dimensional scanner with python on
raspberry pi 3 which was first of its kind in the university history and well-received by the
university board. As a matter of fact, it was one handful of selections that we made to be
displayed in annual student exhibition which we organize every year to show our students’
talents to professors, intellectuals and industry officials from many different sectors.
I recall from my classes and group projects that he is fluent in programming languages such as
C#, C++ which he used cleverly to develop mobile application to manipulate robots.

I assess Dashyam Battushig as extremely efficient working individual with competitive knowledge
and skills in his chosen field by having successfully self-taught another specialization of brand
building and development. I aware he runs his own company in the latter direction and has been
during his university years even with busy academic schedule which I personally think shows
passion for excellence, curiosity, ambition and above all flexibility to be successful in any field he
chooses.

I strongly feel that he would be an outstanding student for your program given the fact that he
wrote his dissertation on the program subject and showed tremendous potential for further
studies and I urge you to take his application without reservation. I consider him to be a brilliant
addition to young professionals who are immensely lacked in Mongolia upon finishing your
course.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend one of my best students, Mr.Dashnyam Battushg into

your graduate programme for the coming academic year. I came to know Dashynam in the fall of
2016 when I was teaching in Automatic system of vehicle and Mechatronic system classes. He
impressed me both in class and office hours with his eagerness to learn, open-mindedness and
intelligence. During the course of studies, his grades were exceptionally good. In fact, his grades
were among the top three students of my 90 student class. He showed high degrees of leadership
and team-work skills through group assignments and presentations.

He was one of the five student team which represented the entire university in Robokon
Mongolia 2016 which is annual hand-made robot contest with the special year theme of creating
awareness of efficient energy consumption and green renewable energy utilization. I guided the
team and they produced one eco robot and one hybrid robot in short period of time with hard
work. During this process, I came to know his abilities to think outside the box, dedication and
work effectively with other team members.

I value him very highly both personally and academically, so I completely recommend him to you
as I believe he seeks to have more international exposure and experience in area where he is
interested and demonstrated proven talent. I am glad to see him succeed and intends to further
