The main purpose of this study is for Mandaue Foam-Lipa City Branch to have

an application that allows user to visualize and interact with their furniture and interior

decorations using their mobile phones in augmented reality environment. The

Augmented Reality (AR) Application will allow the user to select from a range of

furniture and then display the virtual furniture selected on the real environment. This

AR application allows the user to see how the room will look with new furniture without

actually buying or moving real furniture. The user can manipulate the location of the

selected furniture and view it in various angles and it can also change the color of the

selected product. The user can also modify the virtual furniture in real-time on the

screen allowing the user to have an interactive experience with the furniture in a real-

world environment. This will provide a better view of the furniture placement and

simplify the process of interior designing for users to save their time and effort. Thus,

the service providers and customers will benefit a lot through the use of the proposed

application.

Furthermore, other Information Technology students who wish to accomplish

this kind of project can gain information about the trending devices and use it for more

upcoming relevant projects. This can give them concrete ideas to create various

systems related to the proposed project.

Lastly, for the future proponents, the project serves as guide to make a project

related to augmented reality and refine their abilities in creating and maintaining the

projects or system.
