 An NAS Server with 1TB included
The Freebox Delta has NAS (Network Attached Storage)
with a 1TB hard drive. This makes it very easy to store and
share digital content (locally or remotely).

Subscribers own their hard drive outright from the

beginning of their subscription.

The Server can house up to 4 hard drives and therefore

provide up to 20TB of storage with a RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10
configuration to secure the data. It also has a download
manager which accepts Torrent files and can be
downloaded without having to use a computer.

Subscribers can use the new Freebox app to easily

synchronize and manage their content and access it via
their smartphone or tablet. And this remote access is
made even easier by the very high upload speeds we are
offering.

A latest-generation processor
The Freebox Server includes the most powerful processor

you can use voice commands to access a whole range of

You can ask Alexa to do pretty much everything: play

music on the Free Devialet Player, discover new artists,
change volume, listen to the news, get a weather forecast
or traffic report, draw up shopping lists, control smart-
home equipment and much more.

Alexa facilitates daily life and helps keep the whole family

Alexa’s strength lies in the fact that users can access many
extra services thanks to “skills”. In the Alexa universe,
skills are voice-activated applications that enable a new

The Freebox Delta also has its own voice assistant, OK

Freebox, specially designed for voice-controlling the
Freebox’s TV and multimedia services.

OK Freebox is very easy to use, with no configuration

required, and it gets smarter every time it’s used.

You can use OK Freebox to interact vocally with your TV

and multimedia services to:

- Change channel
- Turn up the sound
- Record a program
- Search for content
- Launch an app like Netflix or Canalplay
- Play a webradio station,
- Activate the Security Pack alarm
- Control compatible smart-home equipment
(opening a shutter, switching on a smart light etc.).

The voice assistants can be disconnected by simply

flicking a switch located on the top of the Player.

We have also created a new, easy-to-use TV interface so that users can make
the most of our TV offer which is bursting with different channels. Designed
in 4K HDR, it provides even faster and more intuitive access to content, with
perfect picture clarity.

VIDEO ON DEMAND

A personalized interface A single, fast and precise search function

Viewers can organize access to their favorite content and
services directly on the home page thanks to a “Favorites”
function (TV channels, radio stations, specific programs
on a channel or service such as Netflix, etc.).
The TV interface’s new design provides faster access to
content and uses thumbnail images to display what’s
“now showing” (by channel, category or theme) as well as
up-coming programs (for the evening for example) and
the programs available on all of the TV channels.
The Player has a fast and precise search engine that can
look for a movie, content or filmography based on the
name of an actor or director, etc. among all of the live
and on-demand content available (TV channels, Replay
and VOD).
Searches can also be carried out very easily using the OK
Freebox voice assistant.

A Security Pack and an alarm system

The Freebox Delta includes a Security Pack which contains:

A night-vision camera A movement detector A door/window opening A remote control

You can manage this service using the remote control

provided or your Freebox app or via voice control with
OK Freebox.

The system has a 105 dB siren as well as batteries and

a Sigfox connection integrated into the Server, which
means that the surveillance sensors, alarm and alerts will
continue to function even if there is a power cut or the
network goes down. You can view the camera’s images
on your TV or smartphone.

The Freebox Player has a system that detects unusual

noises, so you can be alerted if a window is broken or
a fire alarm goes off , for example. All of these systems
are linked together via a secure, long-distance radio
protocol, which is the most robust on the market. This
overall security service can be adapted to users’ specific
needs, such as monitoring a sleeping child or detecting a
forced entry.

Controlling Somfy equipment

Free and Somfy – the world’s leading manufacturer of

automated systems for doors and windows – have pooled
their expertise in order to inter-connect their equipment.

As part of our Freebox app, we have developed an

intuitive interface that enables users to easily control
their Somfy products, whether by remote connection or
just at home without having to get up from the sofa.

Many different Somfy products can be controlled using

the Freebox app, including electric shutters, blinds, gates,
etc.

The Freebox communicates directly with Somfy

motorized systems using the IO-homecontrol and RTS
protocols.

You can control your home lighting through the Freebox

Delta to create different moods and ambiances using
Philips Hue smart bulbs. This can be done via the Freebox
