Evaluation of the achievement of the objectives established for the students, who in the third
year of education with mention in English, carried out the specialization practices in the
Instituto Nacional Profesor Guillermo Cano Balladares during the second semester of the year
2018.

Name: Yaser Eduardo Espinoza Ramírez.

Teacher: Luis Antonio Arauz.

Subject: specialization practice.

Career and level: English lll.

Estelí, Nicaragua April 6th, 2019


Introduction.
In this work, I discussed the different situations that occurred during the specialization practice
process.

During this process I was able to document more about the work that the teacher performs as a
facilitator as well as to understand the attitudes of both the teacher and the students, as well as
getting to know the work activities that a teacher develops during the class period, It should be
noted that this is the second practice that we elaborate, so the expectations raised are to obtain
more information or complementary information that give us a better knowledge of a teacher's
work.

The expectations raised for these practices focused on the attitude that the teacher presented,
language proficiency, presentation of the class, use of methodological strategies, types of
assessment used, control in class, response to students and very important to know the
attitudes, behavior and response of students in the classroom.

My participation during this practice was very amanzing and important at the sale time, I was
able to help students during activities oriente by the teacher, I had a good relationship with the
students and that makes me feel confortable an secure with myself and my habilities, also I had
a good relationship with the teacher that gave me good advices to keep in mind.

Teacher's work is very interesting specially when you teach in high school because there are a lot of
things happening and you have to carry about that, also the students have differents behavior,
sometimes that makes the teacher's job easier and sometimes it don't.

The teacher with I work during this process had good cualities to control the students behavior and his
instructions to teach were very clear and understandable for students and was very important.

Evaluation of the achievement of the objectives established for the students, who in the third
year of education with mention in English, carried out the specialization practices in the INPGCB
during the second semester of the year 2018.
Objectives.
General objective:
Analyze the significant learning acquired by the students of third year of education with
mention in English, during the realization of the specialization practices carried out in the
INPGCB during the second semester of the year 2018.

Specific objectives:
Expose the objectives set for the specialization practices carried out by the students of third
year of english in the second semester of 2018.

Analyze how the process of specialization practices carried out by third-year students was
developed, both from the perspective of the student and the tutors.

Describe the significant learning acquired by third year English students during the realization of
the specialization practices carried out.
1- Describe the process in which the specialization practices were developed?
What strategies were used?

First plan activities.


Unit 1: Ocupación

Content: Job skills.

Initial activities:

In the initial activities the teacher just welcome the students, she didn't use warmup activities
then she checks the attendance list and get in to the class.

 Welcoming.

 Check the vocabulary.

 Check the attendance list.

Development activities:

 Play bingo to remember the vocabulary: for the development activities the teacher used
a great strategy to remember the last vocabulary, using “bingo” the the teacher made
students play with the last vocabulary and in this way relate to the words.

 Work in pairs to full the missing letter: then she made students practice with the
previous words solving exercises like the missing letter.

Example: j_b_s.(Jobs), d_nt_s_.(dentist), p_l_ce.(police), off_c_.(Office).

 Workbook page #1: the workbook is a book with guided activities that complements the
contents and there are several exercises.

 The students make your own álbum about diferentes skills: for this activity the students
had to make an álbum using pictures and color sheets, they had to put a pictures about
a work, example: teacher, and the they had to write about the skills a teacher has. This
activity was not finished so the teacher reviewed it the next day.

Final activities:

The time was over so the teacher just gave the homework.
 Evaluation: the week before ask students to bring materiales to make a álbum using Jobs
skills and characteristic.

 Homework: study structure of modal can.

Second plan activities.


Unit: 1 Ocupation

Content: Places at work.

Initial activities:

Again the teacher just welcome the students and get in to class

 Welcoming:

 Remember the use about help wanted to complete the small interview: in this activity th
teacher used a interview that connect the new content with Jobs skills to evaluate the
previous knowledge.

Example: Diego: I want to Be a _______.(teacher).

Diana: can you _______.(speaking english).

Diego: yes, I can.

Diana: you are hired.

Development activities:

 Students work in pairs. Explaining that they Will use the verb to Be with Jobs and
characteristics. Modal Can: In this activity the students had to write about a job, then
describe the place that correspond for that job, also write characteristics that a person
may have in that job.

Example: I/secretary.

I am a secretary.

I work at the school.


I can use a computer.

I am friendly.

 Work in the workbook: and again work oriented in the workbook.

Final activities:

For the culminación it was about check the exercises and evaluate the students.

 Check the exercises in the board.

 To evaluae the work in pairs (integración)

 Homework: to practice the sentences using modal can.


2- How did you appreciate the role of the tutor in the development of
specialization practices?
the teacher role was great i think, the develop of the classes was good, the way to teach was
great, in the classroom there are problems, that is normal but the teacher solved them in a
good way, also the relationship between students and teacher was with respect all the time so it
was a good expirience to share with the teacher that gave me some advices.

3- mention and describe the lessons learned in these practices?


well during this practice i learned about the ways that you have to teach to the students, always
with respect and let them being protagonist, also i learned the ways to keep the discipline, it
may be through small games or using the voice tone, you have to make or think in good
strategies or funny strategies to promote the hardwork in students.

4- considers that the objectives were satisfactorily met?


i think the objectives were done, i got good experience through this process and that makes me
feel more confident every day and i'm waiting for the next practice process.

5- what aspects did not meet your expectations?


I don't have bad references from this process, I came here to learn and that was what I did,
every experience was great to me and that's why I don't rate this process bad.

6- What are the weaknesses of the current process of Specialization practices?


Personally I don't have bad experience, the only thing was the few hours of practice, but out of
that, the problems that my classmates have was in the schools which make the process a bit
difficult.

So I think this process was strong to me, and that's my point of view.
Conclussions.
In conclussion, this is an important process that providencia a great experience for us to learn
about the work that a teacher Performa and at the same time this help us to get in context to
learn about the students actitudes, and the different ways to teach.

By this practice I get more confidente about my skills and I know I have to study hard if I want to
Be a great teacher, in that way try to teach the best and share all my knowledge with possibles
students so next steps Will prepare me more and at the end this process was amanzing to me
and I rate it perfecto.
Reflextions.
I would've liked to stay more time in the specialization practice but the time was up, to Be
honest I have to learn a lot of things if I want to be a great teacher, I have to learn and practice
my english intensively and i need to learn How to teach, How to express my knowledge to
create significat knowledge in students.

I always think in my preparation, I know that if I'm prepare I won't have troubles about the
idiom but that is something in what I'm working to get, I'm trying to learn in the best way as I
can to have a domain in this language that allows me to opt for great goals.

Achievement indicator: the s's demostrates ability to answer basic interview questions.
The s's identifies different kind of Jobs using simple help wanted ads.
